Your treatment begins with a 90-minute initial appointment, during which I will assess your current concerns, gather background information, and work collaboratively with you to establish goals for your therapy. I am happy to consult with psychiatrists or other providers (at your request and with the appropriate authorizations) in order to ensure the best, most coordinated care.

Regular therapy sessions are 45-minutes long and occur weekly or, in some cases, biweekly. CBT is intended to be a short-term therapy, although the length of a course of treatment will vary. My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm, supportive environment in which you can learn cognitive and behavioral strategies and make them your own, eventually becoming your own "therapist." Although I do not currently provide formal DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), I am intensively trained in this modality as well, and I incorporate many principles of DBT and mindfulness into my work.

Payment is due at the time of service, and is payable by check or cash. I do not accept insurance but I can provide the necessary documentation if you wish to submit to your insurance.

Cancellation policy: 24-hours notice is required for missed sessions. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24-hours prior do incur the full session fee.

Please call (914) 315-9421 to schedule an initial appointment.
